Poppy is our sweet mare who was sent to auction and on her way (with her baby) to the kill pens when a dear friend and fellow rescuer puller the pair off the trailer and brought them home. We honestly didn't think she was going to survive given her condition, but she pulled through and is the sweetest, most gentle mama you could ever meet! She rides on trail, camps with us, and continues to be an inspirational horse!
